What are some services KPMG providing to financial instituions on ESG issues? (Such as CSR or Eu taxonomy)

Hello Wenru, KPMG assists financial institutions with the interpretation of regulation, with the implementation of the requirements, with the identification of required data in order to meet the regulatory requirements for example. I have been working on the Green Asset Ratio for example.

Are you more interested in the regulatory or the IT& data side?

Hello Wenru, in fact, it is not KPMG that is relying on ESG data sources, but KPMG's clients, such as banks, asset managers or insurance companies. Our job is to help them source the appropriate information. With this respect, at this stage, all sources of information are basically welcome. The market has not yet settled down on one specific source. On the other hand, the European Commission recently signalled that it was keen on information sourced directly from the companies, instead of data coming from third party providers.
